Villa garden design and landscaping
what does it involve?
The value of a villa garden
Did you know that at least 20% of your home’s value is its garden? And that is only the lower limit, because the garden is an important part of the architecture and the way you live. In fact, a garden is a second living space and represents a substantial part of the total property value.
But you probably knew that already, consciously or not.
And that is why you want to get the most out of your garden. Both visually and in how it feels.
Creating a garden involves many elements. And every one of them deserves equal attention.

THE GARDEN AS PART OF THE ARCHITECTURE
The garden starts at the villa
A pool is often the centrepiece of the garden. But it does not have to be the only one.
We look at the space as a whole.
Where does the terrace begin?
Where does the morning light fall?
Which sightline from the house do you want to keep?
Where is there shelter?
Where do you want to swim, eat, lounge — or do nothing at all?
The pool can be crisp and architectural, while the planting around it moves freely and naturally.
A plunge pool among mature greenery.
A geometric pool with an organic border.
A long stretch of water that strengthens the sightline of the plot.
Every villa calls for a different solution. Read more about luxury garden design.

Natural swimming pool
In keeping with our philosophy of ‘organifying’, we work with natural swimming pools. A natural pool fits seamlessly with our way of thinking. It uses natural, chlorine-free water in which beneficial micro-organisms (good bacteria) play the leading role.
Crystal-clear water, no irritation, pure enjoyment!

Creating a villa garden
Where does the process begin?
In essence, developing a villa should be treated as one complete plan. Inside is outside and outside is inside.
To let inside and outside grow into one flowing whole, we take up the design at an early stage. Because that is where the development of the outdoor space begins.
from design to construction of the garden
The evaluation
We talk with the owners and listen to their ideas and wishes. We look at their style, the architecture and the setting of the villa. At the existing trees and natural changes in level. We look at the surroundings, but also at technical aspects such as the soil. And not to forget the light.
We also look at the view from the living room.
From that foundation we start the design.
Terraces and paths become part of the landscape. Planting brings layering and privacy. Changes in level can be emphasised or softened. A pool is given a place that feels natural within the garden.
The result is not a collection of separate parts, but landscape architecture.

who is involved?
construction
After the design comes construction. We make sure the design achieves outdoors exactly the coherence that was conceived on paper.
From groundwork and drainage to paving, planting, lighting and any structural elements: we coordinate the works and safeguard both quality and design throughout the landscaping.
That way, one clear line runs from the very first design to the finished garden.

Our approach
01
Getting acquainted and viewing the garden
We discuss your wishes, the architecture and how the garden will be used. Then we visit the site and map out the possibilities and points of attention.
02
Design proposal
Based on our first meeting, we prepare a proposal and quote for the design phase. It sets out what you can expect and what the investment for the design will be.
03
Designing
Once the quote is approved, we start the garden design. Routing, sightlines, terraces, planting, materials, lighting and any special features all find their place in it.
04
Detailing & construction
Once approved, we develop the design in detail and draw up a schedule and budget for the landscaping. We coordinate the various works and specialist partners, and safeguard the design throughout construction.
05
Planting & finishing
The planting goes in and all the elements come together. The result is a garden that does not just suit the villa, but becomes part of the whole.
